SALARY: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Benefits: All eligible full time employees will receive Paid Annual Leave (PAL) starting at 23 days per year and raising by one day per year following one full calendar year of employment (January through December). They will also be offered health benefits and will be automatically enrolled in employer paid short and long term disability and life insurance.
All full time and part time employees have access to participate in the Delphinus Engineering 401(k) which includes company match of 25% up to 10% deferred.
GENERAL
Summary:Provide support to the US Navy
LOCATION:San Diego, CA.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
Fabricate, install, remove, modify and repair piping and hoses; layout, template and target pipe for welding/brazing. P1, P2, and P3 piping systems. Steam plant cleanliness and skilled in using precision measuring instruments.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED
Must pass background check
Must be a U.S. Citizen or legally authorized to work in the USA
Must be able to access all work locations, including government and private shipyards and/or vessels and must be able to obtain and retain Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) card.
Prospective employees should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Experience working in a shipyard/ship repair environment
Experience working on all classes of ships (CVN, CG, DDG, SSN).
